Oops... + Thoughts on AN

Fri Jun 3, 2005, 6:52 AM
... I just got my own kiriban/hit... :pointandlaugh:
But yeah, so I guess I'll set up the next one now...

Well, I'll call 1001 for now...

---------------------------------------------

Anyway, I went to Anime North last weekend... was the first time that I sold things at the con. So I ended up abandoning my friends (who have been to AN with me 2 years in a row) and just sat in front of the table for pretty much most of the 3 days.

Well, we made money *yay*, and I did a lot of commissions. It was fun to do commissions, either knowing that people share the same passion for a certain anime character with you (L & Edo X3333) or learning the fine details of some characters that I didn't quite know to begin with...

And since for most of the commissions I had only a couple of hours at the con to finish them, I think I've increased my drawing efficiency now ^_^||...

---------------------------------------------

NEXT HIT: 1001

If you happen to see this number when you visit my site, drop a line! I'll draw something for you >v<

What's kiriban?

I should probably consult a dictionary, but I'm particularly lazy.

Power of Google... well, Wikipedia, actually =P

Kiriban is when someone visits a website and it makes the visitor count reach a high or unique number, like 2000 or 12345. It is popular amongst Japanese sites and often a prize is given to the person who was the visitor that caused the unique number. Webmasters typically ask for a screenshot of the hit counter as proof and may display the list of "winners" in a gallery.

LOL, err, I'd better not say anything at this point... but yeah, I'll draw you sth...
:iconilmago:
Very Very Interesting!!!

I guess a good kiriban would be a number that matches graduation year? hehe...

LOL, in that case, I'll be able to take a long rest before I need to draw the prize!
